We are event planners who provide opportunities to gather and get away to relax, be creative, and be refreshed. As wedding planners, we are mentors in helping brides and grooms plan their own wedding. In addition, we are Sandals Travel Advisors and help people book weddings, honeymoons, and vacations and service their bookings.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

We share info on a need-to know basis with parties connected to your events, activities, in providing customer service, in carrying out any contract between you and Always Yours Occasions, and to display advertisements that are tailored to your preferences.

We may disclose your personal information to service providers, those teaching or photographing our in person retreats and online and audio courses, or to book or service a Sandals or Beaches Resort booking for the purpose of providing services to you.

We may disclose your personal information to a third party if necessary to enforce our service terms or any other agreement between you and us. Such third parties may include attorneys and collection agencies.

Should we merge, restructure, reorganize, dissolve, or sell or in any other way have a new partner, shareholder, owner, or successor, we may provide them with your information. We may provide your information when we, in good faith, believe that it is needed for the protection of our legal rights, when the law requires it, or when compelled by a government entity to do so.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
